Interesting – certainly makes sense from one who has RP — now with a guide dog – which reduces the mental effort required … can once again enjoy walking down the street!

Thank you for the comment. I’m so glad to hear you’ve gotten a dog. From my conversations with people with vision loss, whether it be from RP, Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy or any other cause, a guide dog is usually a surprisingly welcome addition to life. Unlike a cane, it can give feedback, potentially life-saving, not to mention warmth and devotion. Thanks for reading the article. Best wishes.
